Kálmán Makláry Fine Arts Gallery is dedicated to the artists of the Parisian Post-War School. It specializes in the Abstract and Surrealist movements, focusing on artists such as Judit Reigl, Simon Hantai, François Fiedler and Victor Vasarely. Through exhibitions held at its Budapest location and its publication of books and catalogues, the gallery has brought a number of highly significant artists back into focus, some of whom had completely slipped from view over the last few decades. The gallery has collaborated with museums and art collectors for many years. Today, some of the gallery’s artists have already found their deserved place in major modern art museums around the world. The gallery also presents work by Tibor Csernus, Etienne Sandorfi, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy,Sam Havadtöy, Ilhwa Kim, Hur Kyung-Ae, Lim Dong-Lak and Suh Jeong-Min.
