The gallery was founded in 1978 by Erwin Gierhards.
Ralph Gierhards took over the gallery in 2004 and continue dealing with Objets
d´Art and European furniture and paintings of the 18 th century. He enlarged it with
sections like European sculptures of the 19 th century and Impressionist paintings.
