The Sladmore Gallery specialises in nineteenth and twentieth century European sculpture, a cross section of which is always on display in our Jermyn Street Gallery. The gallery mounts in-depth exhibitions on individual sculptors as well as thematic and group shows. Our publishing program includes exhibition catalogues, detailed monographs and, reference books on turn of the century foundries and the bronze casting process. The Gallery was started by Edward Horswell’s parents over 50 years ago. This website is designed to showcase the varied range of sculpture produced between 1840 and 1940 in which the gallery specialises.
