For over 45 years, Gallery Delaive has specialised in modern (Picasso, Van Dongen, A.C. Willink, Fontana) and contemporary art. The gallery is located in 'Het Spiegelkwartier,' an area of Amsterdam well-known for its art galleries. At the age of twenty, Nico Delaive began to establish intensive contact with Cobra artists Corneille and Constant. In the 80s, he met Walasse Ting, Sam Francis, Niki de Saint Phalle and Karel Appel. Gallery Delaive became the representative of all of these artists, becoming an established name in the field of post-war art. The gallery is now the exclusive representative of the Sam Francis Foundation for Europe. The gallery also specialises in the works of Kees van Bohemen, Andy Warhol and Takashi Murakami. Since 2006, it has been the representative and expert of the work of Ayako Rokkaku, and also represents Yuina Wada and Peter Anton. For many years, the gallery has taken part in major art fairs around the globe and has organised exhibitions in several museums.
